Taylor, Luke, Jacob and I went for a bike ride to the park today. It’s the first time I’ve gone for a bike ride this season.

I’m looking forward to the ice melting and seeing open water on the lake again.

It was a great afternoon for a walk. It’s sunny and 46° right now. It’s supposed to be 50° here tomorrow. That sounds good to me!

I took my five younger boys to the park to ice skate yesterday. We’ve been trying to get as much skating in before the ice melts. It’s been sunny and warm (for this time of year) this past week so the ice is starting to deteriorate.

Kristi and I enjoyed some beautiful views this morning as we walked.

This morning Kristi, Luke, Jacob and I walked on the lake. We started out shortly before sunrise today.

Yesterday morning we walked in the woods.

I took my kids skating yesterday and even got on skates myself for the first time in over 25 years. I was definitely a better skater in my younger days. Even though I was moving around at a snail’s pace, it was fun and I enjoyed watching my kids have fun (and flying around the ice much faster than me). Kristi took some pictures for us.

It’s beautiful here today. Kevin M., Kristi and I walked on the lake this morning. It was great seeing the clear blue sky today.
